an intense conflict is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across ukraine
With another 7.7 million people displaced inside the country, families have been separated, people have been injured, lives have been lost, homes have been destroyed or are unsafe to live in. Infrastructure and health facilities: water supplies and schools has also been damaged or destroyed. At Ukraine’s borders with Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, and Moldova, huge numbers of people are arriving with only what they can carry.

more than 672 hours of war..
The military escalation has resulted in loss of life, injuries, and mass movement and displacement of the civilian population throughout the country and to neighboring countries, as well as severe destruction and damage to civilian infrastructure and residential housing. Public service provision-water, electricity, heating, and emergency health and social services-is under severe pressure, and people’s access to health care continues to be limited by growing insecurity and shrinking humanitarian space.
The ongoing armed violence and the rapidly deteriorating security environment throughout the country have put hundreds of thousands of people’s lives at risk. The expansion of the conflict is projected to deepen and expand humanitarian needs among millions of Ukrainians and other community members.
In our efforts to assist the Ukrainian people in dealing with these tough times, the Prison Fellowship Romania Foundation has supplied 50.659 kg kg of food to Ukraine in +29 shipments.
