Our Mission
We have over 30 years of presence in places where the system fails: at the doors of prisons, in the homes of forgotten children, at the empty tables of hopeless families.
We are a public utility foundation, recognized by the Romanian state, part of the largest global social reintegration network, Prison Fellowship International, present in over 100 countries.
The Prison Fellowship Romania Foundation is, in fact, a vital support system for social categories that society tends to ignore, operating at the intersection of justice, social assistance, and pure humanity. But what sets us apart is not our size; it's our philosophy.
WHY ARE WE DIFFERENT?
Our guiding values

Dignity for everyone
We believe that everyone deserves respect, regardless of their past, mistakes, or circumstances. In everything we do, we prioritize dignity: in how we speak, help, listen, and rebuild lives. Dignity is not a privilege, but a fundamental right.

Family is the first support
No child should face life alone. We strengthen families, support parents in difficulty, and provide children with a stable and loving environment. We believe that healing and change begin at home, where support can rewrite a destiny.

We are building a secure future
We build lasting change, rather than offering quick fixes. We work alongside communities, schools, churches, and institutions to break the cycle of vulnerability, so that future generations have real opportunities. Every intervention today is a step towards a more just world tomorrow.
Our Philosophy
The solution to a community's problems lies within the community itself.
