💔 Invisible children
+18,000 children who don't appear in any statistics.
Who they are: Children with parents in detention who bear the stigma without having done anything wrong. Children from extremely poor communities where a pair of boots or a schoolbag is an unattainable luxury. Children forgotten by the system, raised by elderly grandparents or in families torn apart by poverty.
What they have in common: None of them chose to be born into this situation. All of them deserve to know that someone remembers them. All of them need the simple but powerful message: You matter. You are seen. You deserve to be loved.

How do you tell a child they're not forgotten, when everyone else has forgotten them?
The Network of Angels began in 2009 for children with parents in detention. On the ground we realised Romania has tens of thousands of invisible children. In 2025 we extended the program to all children living in extreme poverty in the country's most vulnerable areas — because poverty, lack and isolation hurt the same, no matter the cause. Each child receives a personalised package and the message that they are not forgotten.
How does it work?
Identification of Children
Volunteers go to prisons and communities, we collaborate with schools, mayors and other NGOs to find families in extreme need.
Preparing Packages
Customised by age and size: exact-fit clothing, shoes, school supplies, toys. Includes a personal card from the parent or a message of encouragement.
Distribution
Volunteers travel to villages and cities. Delivery is discreet, respectful, offering dignity to each child and family.
Human Connection
The detained parent receives the child's picture with the gift. The child receives the message that he is not forgotten by the community.
What does a package contain?
Each package is tailored to the child. It's not just a box, it's an emotional and physical survival kit.
- Clothing Seasonal clothes (exact sizes), boots, jackets.
- School Supplies Fully equipped backpack, notebooks, pens, writing instruments.
- Education Age-appropriate books and educational toys.
- Joy Personal hygiene products, sweets, and surprises.

Who receives packages - only children with parents in detention?
NO. The program started for the children of prisoners (2009), but in 2025 we expanded it to all children from extremely vulnerable communities. Every invisible child deserves support.
Do I get confirmation that the package has arrived?
Yes! Report with photograph (blurred faces) and impact story. We respect the families' privacy.
How does the gift reach the right child?
Collaboration with schools/city halls/NGOs for vulnerable communities. Each package is customized and delivered with care.
